Wrong Costume, Cut!

November 20, 2025

If there is one thing I have learned from Tatu Taps on Love Tv series, then it is patience. Real, deep patience. You’d think shooting a comedy would keep things light but behind the scenes? Eh, it’s a different story.

Imagine in the middle of a scene when we are fully locked in, energy high, actors are in their feelings, camera’s rolling and everything is flowing nicely, then suddenly you just hear: “Cut!” but not from the director instead, from the gaffer. And guess why? Not that lights have an issue, nothing wrong with sound. Not even the actors forgetting their lines.

But costume. Yes, wrong costume. 😂

Anyway, let’s get into the photos from our shoot. Welcome once again to Tatu Taps on Love.

Trevor aka Karama in Tatu Taps on love.
It’s silence on set.
I have finished lighting.
When the scene is going on perfectly.
The gaffer.
Ogua Zuba and Tatu plotting.
When the director decides to take on a role.
The smiles that show, all is well.
Madam producer.
Sound? Camera?
The DOP.
I love you Tatu…mwaah!
When it’s all about sound.
The magistrate.
The lawyer and his client, Epipil.
When they say the sound guy, they mean him.
Tatu… Tatu.
The Editor
When editing is your thing, you enjoy every cut.
When the DOP smiles there is no need for a 6th take.
Timonthy Lwanga acting as Ogua Zuba in Tatu.
It’s time for business.
A good working environment is every filmmaker’s right.
Is this shot working?
We should finish this scene, we are exhausted.

More BTS from the shoot will be posted every week. Next time it will not be about costume (pray I am not beaten for writing this about our costume designers😁)

Do not miss juicy lugambo from our shoot.
