Arua Film Lab Memory Lane

Was looking at old photos of the Sisi Film Lab Arua training and realized how much time has passed since the beginning of the training early this year. Inspired, I decided to make a blog post of just photos because they hold the cutest memories of our students. So, here we go!

Everyone focused, trying to make things come together.

This was a start of something beautiful; it cannot be a surprise if she is a great sound recordist now.

You can see him absorbed in the task at hand paying attention to the camera. These are the kind of moments that say a lot about doing something you love wholeheartedly.

A student and a mentor side by side. Isn’t it beautiful to learn from someone who believes in you?!

Headphones on, fully absorbed. You don’t need a second glance at her; one glance is enough to show you that she knows what she is doing.

When you told yourself that you will one day become a great DOP and here you are laying a foundation for that dream that has haunted you for so long.

These photos show the very first learning moments of our students who are now good at what they are learning. There is still a lot to learn but we recognize the great difference between how they started and where they are now. The journey still continues, and we are sure they will become what they have always dreamed to become. After all, at Sisi, together we build dreams.
